I have been making lampwork glass beads for a couple of years now. There is a quality about glass that draws me into its depths and leaves me mesmerized. I am in awe of the many contemporary glass artists.

My challenge is to find my voice in glass and to develop a style that is truly unique. Most likely, it will be about color, contrast, texture, and detail.

This necklace was one of my first finished pieces. I forced myself to work in a limited palette of purples, coral, and black.

I wore this necklace on the HGTV show Crafters Coast to Coast.

The focal bead was inspired by Michelle Goldstein's wonderful hearts beads.

Bracelets are so much fun to wear! I love looking at my wrists and watching the glass and silver sparkle in the light. It makes me happy to see my wrists adorned when I am doing mundane tasks like washing dishes or shopping for groceries.

Here is an extravagant necklace and bracelet set inspired by the creations of Stephanie Sersich.

The lampwork flower beads are discs that are sewn, button style, onto a woven ribbon base. The finished pieces drape nicely and aren't stiff at all. I LOVE these!
